Neon Beaches ~ A Debut Collection of Vivid Seascapes
I’m beyond excited to have completed my first ever textured art series! A mini collection of some of my favourite beaches roamed and corners known.
I have been obsessed with drawing for as long as I can remember but I was too afraid to paint for myself. After meeting a fellow painter (thanks Jacqui Armstrong ♡) who told me to “just do it” I finally painted what was on my heart and even plucked up the courage to call myself an ‘Artist’ (even though I have been selling commissioned paintings for years!).
This series has been such a journey of discovery for me. Somewhere in between creating a Kmart hack to inspire art beginners and a seascape commission in 2021, I fell in love with the challenge of recreating messy waves + textures of the deep blue.
I spent the last half of 22’ painting over old canvases in a bid to recycle and let go of the perfectionism and preciousness that I find myself caught up in in my daily practice when painting commissions. The result is layers upon layers of happy grungy texture that you could pick off with your fingernails.
Now you can have a slice of neon beach heaven in your living room (or bathroom, or bedroom, or nursery).
All my work to date has been courtesy of word of mouth so thank you for your continued support! It honestly means the world to me!!
If you could, please share this with someone who needs a wall lift.
Thanks so much + happy shopping!
